Less Unreasonable Opens Thursday — Come Celebrate
10 March 2026 · By Pavement Print Studio
Installation Complete
The work is up. Our response to KLATSCH Ensemble's six-hour sonic performance Object Lore is installed at GalleryGalleryINC and ready for the opening this Thursday.
Opening event Thursday 12 March at 6pm. GalleryGalleryINC, 7a Hope St, Brunswick. Come have a drink with us to celebrate.

What We Made
Large-scale wall installation built from overprinting. Each crew member drew responses to the KLATSCH performance, those drawings became screens, then we printed them over each other to create something genuinely collective.
Around 22 screens were exposed and printed. The imagery works through deep greens and midnight blues. Forest floor, moss, ocean tones. Each layer adds to what came before, creating combinations none of us planned individually.

The crew has been documenting the whole process on Instagram. Check out the posts to see how we got from performance to drawings to screens to installation.

The Relay
This exhibition is the second leg of a transmedia relay started by Aimless Research Institute. Bruno Latour diagrams became sonic performance through KLATSCH Ensemble, sonic performance becomes screen-printed installation through us, and the relay continues from there to whoever responds next.
Overprinting works as both technique and concept here. Things start with contradiction and chaos but arrive somewhere meaningful through layering and collaboration.

Visit
The exhibition runs through the end of March. Beyond the Thursday opening, we're running Saturday activations on the 14th, 21st, and 28th. Details on those sessions to follow.
Opening hours and visiting information available through GalleryGalleryINC.

Follow @pavementprintstudio for updates and behind-the-scenes documentation from the Saturday activations.
See you Thursday.

Pavement Print Studio is grateful to GalleryGalleryINC for hosting this exhibition, and to Aimless Research Institute and KLATSCH Ensemble for the relay invitation.
